My name is Marteli Beukes or as my students call me Teacher Tillie, in afrikaans Juffrou Tillie.

I am a Kindergarten teacher of a creche called Junior 5 Talenters. Which started 3 years ago going 4 this year of 2025. In a small area of Kempton park, Edleen.

I love to work with children and treat them as my own mostly the babies. Getting them to sleep is easy with lullabies I can sing, I love giving them the attention and love they deserve and need. Connecting with each and one of them to the best of my ability when it comes to them. I’m always hands on in the activities the children do and make sure they enjoy it and learn new things with the necessary skills.

I am friendly and diligent in my work and the children. I make it my duty to go the extra mile for the little dear ones, ensuring they feel safe, loved and cared for. I get to know each child and baby by heart which makes me love them very much as if they were my very own.

At first they are a little unsure of the new surroundings and environment. Along with the teachers and other people that work at the school.

It does take them a while, say a week for example. Before they know that they are in a safe environment with the teacher and other staff. Who care and give them the attention and love they need.

Giving the right attention and play time what you do with your own child. The child will start to become comfortable and love their teacher as if it were their own parent at school.

At Junior 5 Talenters, we provide that extra care and love. Going out of our way to make sure the kids are happy, safe and loved.
